Pet Diagnostic Imaging & Testing

Diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests are crucial since our pets are unable to communicate what is wrong to us.

Pet Diagnostic Imaging & Testing

Seeing your pet in pain or suffering while unable to diagnose the issue is difficult. Our team uses cutting-edge in-house diagnostics to diagnose what’s wrong and make an accurate diagnosis. A speedier diagnosis results in a faster recovery! We perform diagnostic testing so that we can deliver results right away.

Digital x-ray

Suppose your pet needs an x-ray as part of their diagnostic workup. In that case, Demanes Animal Hospital has a full-service digital radiography laboratory equipped with a brand-new, top-of-the-line digital x-ray machine. An x-ray can be stressful for a pet and pet parent, like many procedures, but our specialists will address any queries or worries you may have before the operation.

Ultrasound

Ultrasonic waves are used in the diagnostic process of ultrasound to produce an imaging study. This means that we can see internal images of the patient’s body during ultrasonography. Unlike other imaging methods, such as x-rays, ultrasonography does not involve radiation. However, ultrasonography uses high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create an image of what is happening inside your pet’s body. Ultrasonography is a non-invasive, painless tool for identifying and assessing a variety of illnesses.

Cardiology EKG

A veterinarian can examine your pet’s heart with a non-invasive procedure called an electrocardiogram or EKG. It gauges the pet’s heart rate and regularity, as well as the size and placement of the heart chambers. In addition to cardiac measures, an EKG will show any heart damage that may already be present. Like people, early discovery of heart issues in your pet enhances the likelihood that the issue will be successfully treated.
